Since Oglethorpe University is a private postsecondary institution operating under the authority of the State of Georgia, complaints against the institution may be filed with the Georgia Nonpublic Postsecondary Education Commission (GNPEC). However, “the individual filing the complaint (complainant) should begin by making every attempt to achieve a fair and reasonable solution via the institution’s published complaint procedure[s].” Only if a fair and reasonable resolution cannot be reached through these processes should an individual file a complaint with GNPEC. The GNPEC complaint form can be accessed at https://gnpec.georgia.gov/student-resources/complaints-against-institution/gnpec-complaint-form
