6.22.3.1. Eligibility to Practice

  1. Students are eligible to practice if they are enrolled in a minimum full-time program of studies leading to a baccalaureate or equivalent degree as defined by the regulations of the student’s school. [NCAA Bylaw 14.1.8.1]
  2. Students are eligible to practice during the official vacation period immediately before initial enrollment, provided the students:
    1. Have been accepted by the school for enrollment in a regular, full-time program of studies at the time of their initial participation; and
    2. Are no longer enrolled at their previous school; and
    3. Are eligible under all school and NCAA requirements. [NCAA Bylaw 14.1.8.1.6.1]
  3. Students are eligible to practice while enrolled in less than a minimum full-time program of studies if they enrolled in the final semester or quarter of a baccalaureate program and if the student’s school certifies that the students are carrying (for credit) the courses necessary to complete their degree requirements.
